Hi, I’m Kristen—the founder and designer behind TillyPad Studios. My journey into pressed flower art and jewelry began with a deeply personal moment: planning my wedding in 2022. As I immersed myself in the world of DIY wedding trends, I fell in love with the art of pressed flowers. For my wedding, I hand-designed 180 unique, pressed flower invitations for each of my guests—an ambitious project that was met with so much love and excitement. Many of my friends and family even framed their invitations, transforming them into cherished keepsakes. That heartfelt response planted the seed for what would become TillyPad Studios. My love for flower pressing and preservation grew into an obsession. When I unexpectedly faced a layoff from my tech job, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my passion full-time. TillyPad Studios was born out of this pivotal moment, blending my love for nature and creativity into meaningful, handcrafted art. Here at TillyPad Studios, I focus on creating: Pressed flower art, Preserved flower jewelry, Decoupaged natural items, Dried flower wreaths. While pressed flowers are my specialty, my curiosity for art has also led me to explore other crafts inspired by the natural world. My work is always evolving, but the heart of my creations remains the same: capturing the beauty of nature in timeless, artistic forms.
